Leba Sherman is a mom of three trying to raise awareness for people with Stargardt Disease. After being diagnosed with the disease, Leba started her fashion company Patched by Elle to help raise money for research and awareness. Passionate about educating people, Leba is on a mission to inspire others to live their life to the fullest.

In this episode, Leba Sherman shares her story about being diagnosed with Stargardt Disease (a rare disease that causes macular degeneration).
– Leba candidly talks about her initial shock and grief at receiving this sudden diagnoses. She also shares what it is like to live day to day with impaired vision. Despite the many obstacles Leba faces, she feels like this diagnoses was a wake up call to really live her life to the fullest. Grateful for the what she is able to see and do, Leba is passionate about educating others and inspiring them to be present and grateful.
